This story is guaranteed to work immediately.

Is this really the 21st century?

Well I would have to agree with the school's assessment that she isn't "a good fit". Of course who would want to fit in with such a close minded, shallow and sheltered group of people. But its the kids that really lose out as they are obviously living a very repressed environment and they had the opporutunity to have their world expanded a bit.

I saw this earlier this morning! And my blood pressure did raise! One parent even said "I think it glorifies Satan in some way". Perhaps they don't have television there either? Hmmm. It's a shame that the teacher, just trying to expose the children to different kinds of music, feels forced to leave that town.

Of course, a young college friend of mine just encountered censorship yesterday and I am still flabbergasted. He only wanted a flyer advertising auditions for a musical to be distributed via email and a faculty member told him she wouldn't do it because perhaps "she's a prude". I can't get over it. Censorship is wrong to begin with but I can understand it a bit more for small children - but for college students? Give me a break.
