I was two years old when I first started to like Bernadette. My Grandpa told me about her. He showed me some shows she was in like Sunday in the Park with George, and Into the Woods. She is one of the most beautiful actresses I have ever seen. Her voice is so pretty and she can act so well I can hardly stand it!
I really want to meet her some day and ask her how I can be just like her when I grow up. I am now 7 and hope to see a lot of other shows she is in that I can watch. She is my favorite actress!

Hi-

Welcome to the board!! I think it was so wonderful of your grandpa to expose you to such great music from such a young age. My grandma is the one who really got me into music( and piano) too. Who knows, maybe someday you won't just get to meet her but you'll be in a show with her

Wow! You're so young. LOL
I love hearing about Bernadette experiences from a younger fan's point of view. It's so honest and refreshing.

I hope you get your chance to meet her some day.

That's really cool. I'm 12 but I wish I grew up listening to Bernadette the way you did. I think my brother first exposed me to music. I now play piano and alto saxophone, I've always dreamed of playing while she sang along.

Wow I feel soo old, even though I'm only 16! I started liking Bernadette when I was like 12-13, after I saw her in AGYG. Since then, I've dragged my parents to see her on Broadway 2x after that (her last performance of AGYG and Gyspy), 3+ concerts, a cd signing, this year's Tony Awards, and being in 2 audiences of "Regis and Kelly!". In those couple of sightings, I have been priveliged to meet/talk to her 3 times. I hope to add more to that list!

wow, you're so incredibly lucky!!!!!!!! i'm 13 (the girl who posted something right above you), and i live in indiana! so, unfortunately, my chances to get to see her are less, but i don't care! i'm saving up my money to go see her as much as i can in NYC. i wasn't fortunate enough to see AGYG, but i have the cd! i got to meet her/talk to her 3 times too, but i only went to Gypsy once! lol.

we were staying in a hotel right across the street from the schubert alley so i got to see her 3 times! first one was after the show, second was after we saw 42nd street & waited out for her (i got her autograph & pictures & talked to her that time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) & third was after we saw thoroughly modern millie (in our hotel!) & she actually recognized me!!!!!!!!!!!! she goes, "oh, you're back!" I was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited!!!!!!! i can't wait to see her perform/ appear again & maybe meet her! that would be the coolest thing.....

*************************
I so wish I was Bernadette's daughter! Sorry, wishful thinking again...... but we do have the SAME BIRTHDAY!!!! February 28 is the bestest day ever!!!! by the way, BROADWAY ROX!!!!!!

I really want that Black Lab (Herman) that was on Regis today. He was so adorable. I just don't have the time or space for a big puppy.

I know what you mean, Christine. Herman was sooo cute! I would absolutely love to have him, but I already have two dogs and I'm pretty sure they would go berserk if I brought in a strange new animal! Maybe I can convince my aunt and uncle to adopt him, they are looking for a puppy and I think they are going this Saturday. Although, I'm sure they probably have a million people that have already asked to adopt all the dogs today.

I'm 19 and my dad accuses me of indoctrinating my brother (then 7 now 9) into what he calls Bernadette Peterism! She's become a religion for me and my siblings!

Bump it with a trumpet!
