BP was in a movie I seen several years ago and I can't remember the name of it! It was aired on like Hallmark, or ABC Family movies or something like that. I remember a bit of it- She(BP) gets stranded on a bus at Christmas time and an older guy on the bus gives her the last of his insulin and she don't know it but he is her father. He ends up dying. I knwo it was a touching movie and I'd like to see it again, but I don't know the name of it. Does anyone here know? Any ideas?

Holiday in Your Heart with LeeAnn Rhimes. It should be on some time this Christmas season.

EDIT: Look on the homepage of this site. The movie is listed and will play several times this week, including tonight.

"Particular mention must be made of Bernadette Peters, who turns up briefly in a sort of sparkly Glinda the Good costume. She's the reluctant muse sent to help Alice with her writing. The muse is dressed like Oz, sounds like Queens and behaves like a bored student adviser." Alice Film Review, The New York Times, December 25, 1990

"I'm one star away from Dolly Parton ... and Raymond Massey is between us. I hope we don't suffocate him." Bernadette Peters receiving her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, April 24, 1987

I saw this movie (Holiday in Your Heart) when it first aired on TV. In fact I taped it. I was a huge LeAnn Rimes fan back then, not as much anymore. I used to know most of the lines by heart. Its a good movie, looking at LeAnns life basically with Bernadette Peters being someone who helps LeAnn along the way of the movie. I can't see anyone else playin Faith Shawn except for Bernadette!! She just fit the part if you ask me. Course like I said I saw it over 200+ times back after it came out. Yes, when she sang "Crazy" one of Patsy Cline's most popular hits in the movie with LeAnn Rimes, it was very cool!!
The bus scene was also when Faith Shawn was telling LeAnn a story when she was young and "when it snowed in Nashville" LeAnn Rimes "Oh! Its Nashville. But it doesn't snow like this in Nashville." Faith Shawn "It did once. They called it... an Arctic Onslaught (shows LeAnn Rimes old newspaper article)" Faith Shawn was telling her the rest of the story she's kind of been telling LeAnn throughout the movie. By now, you know (as you've been watching the movie) that when Faith was young she left home because she wanted to sing, and sing country.

You learn early that her father got in an argument over her leaving with her mother. You hear in the flashback him screaming "You step out of this house, you have no daddy. If you step out of this house, you have no daddy." Later she's told LeAnn that she did break as a singer and her father wanted to come see her. She left town on a bus (which leads to the story in the warehouse and the little movie set) and there was an older man who was blind that Faith Shawn helps on the bus. Throughout this story Faith Shawn tells of when they got in the bus accident and how it was wedged between two trees. The battery had died and they were in there for hours. She tells LeAnn that she didn't have her medication because she forgot it. She was crying and said "No one could have heard me crying except for a mouse, or maybe a blind man." You find out who the blind man is and what was the point of him being on the bus.

This whole long story about Fatih Shawn being on the bus was to help Leann understand that when she breaks as a singer (which Faith Shawn knew she would) who was going to be there with her?? At the end you see LeAnn onstage at the Grand Ole Opry and her grandmother, "Grandma Teaden" sitting in the audience. I thought it was a good wholesome movie that everyone in the family could watch. But that's just me.

guess I knew more of the lines and plot then I thought I did.

Oh and forgot to mention that Faith Shawn (Bernadette Peters) is not as she seems to appear to LeAnn Rimes. Though I am leaving out a bunch in case there are other peple who read this don't have everything spoiled for them.

Go watch it!! You might actually like it!
