so we all agree that, yes, Bernadette has the "it" factor, what ever that may be. and a previous thread was trying to get to the root of it. well, after a couple years of classes, i think i've comcluded that the it factor comes from a presence that a performer has...and Bernadette has it!
if you notice when she stands, walks, sits, whatever, she holds herself very high. there are certain colors and shakrah and centers that people have and each make you feel differently. she holds herself very high with her center in her sternum lifting outward and upward. without getting too much into it, this is the placement of a powerful feeling that gives one great presence when they enter a room. just watch the tape of Bernadette's concert...you'll notice. when she walks into a room, you take notice of her. sometimes, this is learned, and sometimes it' natural. i think that given her years of experience, in Bernadette's case, it was a natural effect out of a learned profession. just some thoughts...

I personally think that the "It" factor consists of a combination of things....I don't think it can really be pin-pointed because for each person that has the "It" factor their own unique qualities contribute to it. Actually, many times its their uniqueness that adds to them having the "It" factor. Hope that made sense LOL

i completely agree that it comes from a combination of things, as i stated in a post on a previous thread, and hands down that uniqueness the basis, but i'm so serious about the center thing. try it out, adn you'll see what i mean...walk around one day, all day, and you'll FEEL the difference.

Bernadette is certainly unique... she has her own certain way of relating to things, of recieving/interpreting things, and of delivering things...
