Anyone know how long Ms Peters contract is for Gypsy? Just got tickets to the Sept 26 8PM performance.

I believe she's signed for a year (with vacation time included of course).
You should be ok for September.

Christine, I sort of took a chance and bought tickets for the Saturday matinee of Labor Day weekend (August 30). I realize that August is a dangerous month to book. Dya think I'll be O.K. or will Bernadette be sipping boat drinks in the Hamptons that weekend? :-) Will there be any advanced warning about her vacation time?

Bernadette *usually* takes her big vacation in December, although seeing that this role is so demanding and that she's been working since December it could be sooner....you never know. But I am sure that when she does have a planned vacation it WILL be announced atleast a few weeks beforehand

LOL I'm sorry, but I cannot picture Bernadette sipping boat drinks in the Hamptons. LOL
Can you picture her in a life vest clutching a margarita? Plus, I don't think she even goes to the Hamptons. She vacations in her home away from NY home.

Thanks Bwaybaby! I feel better now. Of course, I realize that there's no guarantee but this eases the angst.
Christine, LOL I know, I know, I was just trying to be funny. Maybe I should stick to being a drama queen. :-)
I mean to look as good as she does at her age boat drinks and sitting on the beach are DEFINITELY out of the question.

Speaking of vacation homes- there was a little article in the Miami Herald today that she and Michael sold their house down here because she was too busy with the "new hit on Broadway." It also said that she reportedly bought another one.

LOL Bought another one in Miami? Or maybe some place else that she might be able to get to more often. Well that is too bad as she seemed to really enjoy Miami. But on that one Regis she did seem nervous about owning it. LOL She kept referring to it as Michael's house.
