Is the song "Happiness" from the musical "Sunday in the Park with George"? Do I have the right title of the song? Also where is "Henrich" from?

Hi Patty!!

Yes, the song is called "Happiness," but it's not from "Sunday In the Park with George." It's from Sondheim's "Passion" from 1994 or 95.
I have no idea what "Henrich" is from....if that's even the name of the song :-)

i'm no where near 100% sure, but i think "henrich" is actually called "later" and it's from a litte night music (again, not sure) and i think Sondheim wrote "now", "then", and "later". if i'm wrong, i hope someone else knows for sure, because i'm curious to know myself.

Now, Later (the song sung by henrik) and soon. Happiness is a reoccuring song sung by different people,I believe, in Passion. so I think perhaps it was edited or something to make it into a solo.

Here's some info on the show

http://www.sondheim.com/shows/passion/

It was mildly successful and I think had a run in the West End as well. I heard that Bernadette considered (and was being considered) making her West End debut as Fosca but it never materialized.
