Oh my God, how is it possible? That was actually superb. For years now I've been complaining about the declining quality of the Tony show, but this was fantastically good. It was the best Tonys I can remember for years, maybe decades. Unbelievable!

Lovely pictures! Glad for the close-ups as her gown looked black on the TV. It was absolutely beautiful...as was the gorgeous ring! Who designed her gown? Think it was the prettiest gown I've ever seen her in!

The gown was by Donna Karan.

"The emerald-green shredded-chiffon mermaid gown was styled with emerald-and-diamond David Webb jewels and a black clutch.
Her signature flame-coloured curly mane was swept up into a chic updo with a few face-framing tendrils."
