Hello,

I've seen most of Bernadette's movies, but there are several that I'm having a really tough time finding, specifically Ace Eli & Rodger of the Skies, Break Up, The Islander, Once Upon A Mattress, and any of the All's Fair episodes. I suppose the only way to have gotten a hold of most of these, they'd had to have been recorded from the TV. I really thought that finding Once Upon A Mattress wouldn't be that hard, but alas I have proven myself wrong. Has anyone ever seen and/or recorded any of these?

Also, has anyone seen any of the other Carol Burnett Show episodes that she appeared on, besides the one with the Typists sketch and As The Stomach Turns? I think she was on something like around 10 episodes, but I've never seen most of them. Do they ever air them on TV? Not that that would help me any since I don't get cable, but you know. It would be nice to know if they air them at all.

How do you like them egg rolls, Mr. Goldstone?

Some of the episodes/songs she sang on the Carol Burnett shows are on YouTube. But there was an offer recently to buy the whole show (all episodes plus bonus features) on DVD. It was a commercial I saw at five in the morning and i turned my t.v. on and Bernadette Peters was on my screen talking about Carol. Naturally I freaked out and got to the bottom of things. I don't know if try are still doing that or not, but it couldn't hurt to look. As for the others, I haven't had any luck finding them either.

Unfortunately, (but please correct me if I'm wrong) I believe it's just a compilation of Carol's favourite episodes, or something along those lines, not the entire show. I love Carol and her show, but the only way I'd drop that much money on the DVDs is if ALL of Bernadette's episodes were on it, which they're probably not. I have tapes of her show when they did a marathon on TV Land years ago, and I know a couple of the Bernadette episodes are on those, but I'm pretty sure it's just the ones that have been up on youtube. I've been meaning to re-watch it and see if there are any other Bernadette ones on there, although I kind of doubt it.

Thanks for the links; it looks like there's a couple of episodes that I haven't seen (but still doesn't look like all of the BP ones.) Hopefully they're on my tapes of the marathon, because at the moment I don't have a spare $200 (ha!) maybe one day.
