Welcome to 2013!

I went to her concert last night in Fort Worth, and she looked and sounded amazing. The audience was great, too. Everyone was laughing at every little comedic suggestion, and she received more laughs than I've heard from any of the dozen plus other concert engagements I've been to of hers. . My ONLY criticism is that she has been performing the exact same material (with the exception of the Follies numbers) for years now. I saw her in Dallas in 2007, and the songs/banter were identical.

I stil enjoyed it, though! She has the ability to make everything seem so fresh and alive. She truly lives and performs in the moment.

One interesting note - Marvin had the flu. He was there, and Bernadette mentioned repeatedly about him being a trooper. He fumbled a bit during Children Will Listen (prompting BP to turn around once and look at him). Poor guy! Devotion!

Overture
Let Me Entertain You
No One is Alone
Nothing Like a Dame
Mister Snow
Some Enchanted Evening
In Buddy's Eyes
Losing My Mind
Johanna
You Could Drive a Person Crazy
With So Little To Be Sure Of
Children Will Listen
Being Alive
Kramer's Song

Her mic popped in and out a few times allowing us to momentarily hear her natural voice from the stage. She was full of energy and very focused. It was a great evening!

I'm so glad the concert was a success! She is coming to New Orleans after her next concert in Florida!!! I hope she doesn't catch the flu from Marvin!!

It was a great night. She also sang Fever and Wish Upon a Star.

"And if it wasn't for me then where would you be Miss Gypsy Rose Lee?" -Rose's Turn
