So there is a difference between the Kennedy Center production and the Broadway production. In the Ken Cen production she just singings LOSING MY MIND. In the Broadway version she cries throughout most of the song. She seems to be truly unravelling during the performance. Just one thing I noticed.

I think I prefer the more "together" Sally as well.

Yeah, I actually think she cries a little bit too much now, but I have to give her a lot of credit for really going there emotionally eight times a week.

The first time I saw the show, I didn't really like how Bernadette did her final scene. I thought it was a bit too drawn out. The second time, however, I really enjoyed it. I felt like her choices made more sense to me. I also noticed her crying more the second time around; it kind of surprised me.

I'm not a performer and certainly can't even imagine how emotionally strenuous it must be for her to play Sally. She definitely gives more than 100% during each performance and is totally committed to the role.

I know. She seems to have a lot of "emotional memory" to be able to get herself "there". That has to take some kind of toll on her to give so much 8 times a week.

Yeah, I actually would've been shocked if she stayed on for L.A. I do perform, and I did just do something where I had to cry, and it was rough to have to actually reach a state where the last thing I did was sobbing as I hurried off stage. I was so glad when the last performance was over, I felt like I could get back to life. What she has to do is much more taxing, too.

If I had to give that kind of performance eight times a week, I'm pretty sure I would be an emotional wreck! LOL.
