Bernadette had been scheduled for the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra on Sept. 24-26, 2010. That date has been rescheduled for Sept. 16-18, 2011.
Idina will do the concerts in 2010.

She also postponed her St. Louis Symphony Orchestra concert, originally scheduled for Sept. 10, 2010.
It's now set for May 13, 2011.

I was expecting that. And, I must say, it's the first time that I've been happy that a Bernadette concert I was going to was cancelled/postponed. This is the best possible reason.

That St Louis Symphony concert, that had been re-schdelued for May 13, 2011, has now been cancelled.

I'm hoping that the St. Louis cancellation is due to the rumors I've heard on a London board of Bernadette making her West End debut in Follies next year. Even better - I've heard that the cast could include Maria Friedman. Bernadette and Maria on stage together would be fabulous.

Yes, Crick, I'm hoping she does Follies also. There will be a production of Follies at the Kennedy Center from May 7, 2011 to June 5, 2011, I think perhaps that is the one that Maria Friedman was referring to (as Sally). (The quote I've seen from Maria is "I will probably be playing Sally, next year in Washington" .)
I don't know about Bernadette as Phyllis (there is a casting notice for the KC Phyllis), but it sounds ok by me!
I didn't realize that Follies was being done in London, is it the KC production? Do you know the dates?

OH, ok, based on the chat at broadway world, it looks like Trevor Nunn is doing Follies in the Fall 2011 at the Haymarket.

Thanks Jean, I hadn't seen the dates listed for the London production - I had just heard 2011. I knew of the KC version but hadn't realized Bernadette's name was being thrown in the mix as well. Maybe she could do both?

Trevor Nunn is taking over the Haymarket in London next year. Follies is on his wish list of shows to produce - but it seems to be partly dependent on him signing a big name, due to the budget the show will require. Bernadette has been rumoured as one of the stars - but she's in Washington in Follies so who knows really.
