For those who would like to support the cause of Broadway Barks, i.e. shelter animals in NYC, here's how:
Contributions should be sent by check and made payable to "Mayor's Alliance/Broadway Barks".
For a minimum $10. donation your name, your pet's name, or a tribute such as: in honor of..., in memory of..., will be listed in the event Playbill.
For a minimum $100. donation you will be listed as a Broadway Barks Benefactor in the event Playbill.
For a $1000+ donation you will be listed as a Grand Benefactor in the event Playbill.
For a business listing the donation is a minimum $25. You may include a phone number, location, and/or e-mail in your listing.
All donations are tax-deductible and will be distributed among the participating shelters.

In case anyone else is interested, I will once again, as usual, be sending a check in the name of this website to Broadway Barks 10. If you would like to be a part of that, let me know through PM or e-mail, and we can work out the logistics. Otherwise, I assume that most of you prefer, as always in recent years, to send your contributions individually.

By the way, the deadline for them to have everything necessary this year is Sunday 15 June 2008, so keep that date in mind while deciding what and when to send in. Thank you!

Actually please hold your horses on this. Rochelle is NOT working with Broadway Barks this year. The new information on where to send your donation will be posted some time next week. Thanks everybody for participating!

To make a donation, make your check payable to:

and send to

To donate to a separate fund that helps special animals that are in need of medical attention, make your check payable to the Picasso Fund.
You can also donate online via Picasso Veterinary Fund

Our group check was mailed today. We reached a total of $1050--Grand Benefactor status. Thanks everyone. As usual, we are using the name "Fans of Bernadette Peters (www.bernadette-peters.com) and Friends To All The Animals" in the Playbill listing.
