Hey guys...haven't posted on here in a while. Just thought I'd share a couple stories I recently heard from a dear friend of mine who recently moved out of the city (after 10 years). Anyways...
My friend is a fan of Bernadette's and upon seeing a photo of Ms. Peters in my apartment she was dying to tell me some stories she had. My friend lived on the upper east side and had said that she lived directly across from Bernadette...(names the name of the building...but I wont put it on here for obvious reasons)...anwyays...she said she basically has an entire floor of this amazing building on the east side. Well my friend went to see her in AGYG and happened to be there on the performance when Bernadette got sick and ran off stage...then came back on and sang the first song and then three up and ran off. She said the audience was really supportive but everyone was generally really confused. She saw her (as she frequently did) two days later walking around the neighborhood and she asked her if she was feeling better (you guys have to know this woman...she's just really really bold)...and Bernadette evidentally laughed and said "oh yes I'm much better-thanks for asking." They both just kind of kept walking.
My friend also told me that she was working at a restaurant on the upper east side that many celebrities would often come in to...and this particular place she had worked at for over two years. She would frequently see Bernadette and Michael in there (it's a vegetarian and non-veg. friendly place). She said that they knew them so well because they were both always so kind and generous. After he died obviously they all were so saddened by the news. She said that sometime in the mid winter after the holidays Bernadette started coming back into the restaurant but she would come all by herself...no assistant...no one...just all by her self. My friend actually said that it was just really said and she remembered asking her if everything was ok with her dinner and Bernadette said "I just really want to thank you for being the first person to not ask me how my holiday has been." My friend said she was just so heartbroken for her. She said she was always kind...and would remember her when they would see each other in the street after that. How funny...
just had to share...just goes to show that she's a normal person...who really really is as kind as she seems. Gotta love her.
-Jai.

No, she doesn't live on the Eastside. I know this for certain.

See this FAQ for the "official" policy on invasion of privacy:

But, even more important than "official", is, common sense and adherence to a common courtesy standard.

I do not blame you for discouraging talk of where Bernadette lives. I think she would appreciate it that she has thoughtful fans who try to be respectful of her privacy.

Not interested in talking about where BP lives. If you follow that rule you shouldn't mention "any location" at all when telling a story. You can mention the street encouter but don't mention a neighborhood. I didn't start this conversation.

Yeah, don't give too much credence to that one. It doesn't ring true on a lot of levels.
