| posted: 10/18/2006 at 11:21:54 AM ET He's talking about the October 12th event that Jean had posted about before. If you look at the wireimage pictures from that event you'll see Michelle Willams and Bernadette as well as Uma Thurman in the same dress as the posting form HughE.

From: NYC | posted: 10/18/2006 at 11:52:52 AM ET Maybe, he said "The Fragrance Foundation is pleased to announce a “scentsational” schedule of events for its annual Fragrance Week to be held October 16th - 20th in New York City. One of the first private events was a Donna Karan "Gold" Fragrance Collection Launch."
Maybe the some of the same people in some of the the same clothes were at the other event. Wouldn't be the first time for that.

| posted: 10/18/2006 at 11:58:11 AM ET LOL Well I'm going to guess the main events started on the 16th but Donna's event was a little earlier. I would prefer to believe that than the scenario that very famous, wealthy people can't afford two different outfits for the red carpet.

I'll remain neutral on the rest...

(I'm going for a walk in the mall later--I think I'll check out this new fragrance!)

| posted: 10/18/2006 at 3:01:07 PM ET Well let me know, Jean, what you think. My current bottle of Cashmere probably only has about a month left. So I expect a full professional review with comparisons to the Cashmere scent.

Registered: 6/7/2003 | posted: 10/19/2006 at 7:00:58 AM ET Donna Karan's new perfume, "Gold", smells a bit like roses, with more that I can't describe--it's heavy and sweet, if that makes any sense. I didn't have time to compare to Cashmere, maybe this afternoon. This has turned into a project..
I would think to wear it for an evening out, perhaps a concert or opera, but not for daytime-go-to-gym-or-grocery store activities.

In other words, please don't wear too much perfume to the theatre.
