HughE says Bernadette was on the red carpet at the Donna Karan Event last night. Knock knock, News Girl Jean, where are your photo findings on this?

He's talking about the October 12th event that Jean had posted about before. If you look at the wireimage pictures from that event you'll see Michelle Willams and Bernadette as well as Uma Thurman in the same dress as the posting form HughE.

Maybe, he said "The Fragrance Foundation is pleased to announce a “scentsational” schedule of events for its annual Fragrance Week to be held October 16th - 20th in New York City. One of the first private events was a Donna Karan "Gold" Fragrance Collection Launch."

Maybe the some of the same people in some of the the same clothes were at the other event. Wouldn't be the first time for that.

LOL Well I'm going to guess the main events started on the 16th but Donna's event was a little earlier. I would prefer to believe that than the scenario that very famous, wealthy people can't afford two different outfits for the red carpet.

There is no still photo of Bernadette on the HughE blog. Look at the video @ tmz.com, there's a very brief few seconds of her arriving, around 55 second mark. (revised)

I'll remain neutral on the rest...

Thanks. I'm looking for a new perfume and I've been wearing Donna Karan Cashmere for years. Maybe I'll check out Gold.

Too funny-sisterrose's friend ( yes, that's an example of sarcasm) Hughe has now posted some photos of Bernadette, and also has clarified that the event was on Oct. 12.

(I'm going for a walk in the mall later--I think I'll check out this new fragrance!)

Well let me know, Jean, what you think. My current bottle of Cashmere probably only has about a month left. So I expect a full professional review with comparisons to the Cashmere scent.

Donna Karan's new perfume, "Gold", smells a bit like roses, with more that I can't describe--it's heavy and sweet, if that makes any sense. I didn't have time to compare to Cashmere, maybe this afternoon. This has turned into a project..

I would think to wear it for an evening out, perhaps a concert or opera, but not for daytime-go-to-gym-or-grocery store activities.

Well I'll await the comparison to Cashmere. LOL Just kidding. Thanks for the thoughts. I will definitely have to drop by a department store and sniff it out.

"The theatre has a gay appearance in these days with row after row of pretty women in light-colored attire and hair artistically arranged with pretty ornaments...With the exception of a bunch of violets, flowers are not worn at the theatre. The vigorous flourishing of fans is to be avoided, and eating bonbons is not good form." - The Etiquette of New York To-day by Mrs. Frank Learned, 1906

In other words, please don't wear too much perfume to the theatre.

Love it. Where on earth did you find that "publication"?
