L'Oréal Legends Gala Draws Starlets and Support FWD (Fashion Wire Daily)

"Beyonce Knowles, Diane Keaton, Milla Jovovich and Eva Longoria were just some of the beauties that attended the L'Oreal Legends Gala on Wednesday, November 8th in New York City. The black-tie affair, hosted by L'Oreal Paris and The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund, began with a cocktail reception and luxury silent auction after which starlets and media personnel were entertained by a performance from Golden Globe and Tony award-winning actress, Bernadette Peters.

The event also honored Harper's Bazaar Editor-in-Chief Glenda Bailey and Paul R. Charron, Chairman of the Board of Liz Claiborne Inc. with The OCRF Legends Award. The Liz Tilberis Humanitarian Award was honored to Environmentalist and Philanthropist Cindy Harrell Horn and Alan Horn, President and Chief Operating Officer of Warner Bros, while Peter R. Dottino, M.D. Director of the Division of Gynecologic Oncology at Mount Sinai Medical Center, was presented with The Hope Award."

Hmph, no photos, no write-up of what she sang--don't these people know what's important??

I saw a picture of a celeb from the event in today's Daily News so someone was there taking pictures. Hopefully they'll show up on the wires soon.

"I'm one star away from Dolly Parton ... and Raymond Massey is between us. I hope we don't suffocate him." Bernadette Peters receiving her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, April 24, 1987
