Just a reminder that Will & Grace is on this evening with Bernadette.

I can't wait to hear the dialogue between her character and "Karen"! Just imagine those two very distinct voices together.

I hate to say this, but what a disappointing episode. It was so SO great to see Bernadette looking beautiful and on a hit primetime show, but it was obvious that almost no thought went into a creative and memorable way of introducing Karen's sister. She had some good moments ("You bet your fat pregnant ass I did"), but all in all, very poorly written.

I'm not going to critque the writing becuase its been lacking for sometime now on Will&Grace but I will say that she had the best lines in the show! I loved the "I could have been on Broadway" and dancing part. I also thought the dialogue between her and Karen at the end was hilarious, specially the whole "I didn't step on left foot blue but right hand red" (or something like that)

Hated it. My God, is this what television has come to? Glad I stopped watching years ago.

As far as I'm concerned, the "you bet your fat pregnant ass" line is the absolute low point of Bernadette's career ever. It depresses me that she finds it necessary to have anything to do with this kind of puerile garbage.

I'm just glad this idiotic show is going off the air so there's no possibility of Bernadette ever coming back as a recurring character. What an embarrassment.

Before everyone gets too hard on her, consider the fact that she may have taken this on as a fun thing to do...

Well I haven't seen this yet but from your comments it should be interesting. But I could see her just wanting to have some fun with it.

I also did not like the show. I thought Bernadette's lines and scenes were WAY too theatrical. The whole "I could have been on Broadway" scene gave me a Rose's Turn feel.

I think the material was just poorly written. I think her acting fit that, and it made her look bad.

So. Okay. I got home and started watching it (taped it). I watched until her second scene, and then I turned it off. I haven't watched the show in years, and good Lord, I remember why (although I still wouldn't call it a low point in her career-it wasn't interesting enough).

Although, right now, if she decided to take up lion taming, I would defend it by saying she was just doing it to have some fun right now. So take this for what you will.

Maybe several years ago, the show would have been different.

Seriously Jenn, I'm straining my brain for a lower point now. Possibly her appearance on the Sha Na Na summer replacement series in 1977? Dinner theater on Long Island in 1967? No, I don't think so. This is it.

But for a low point, I think it has to be something really bad. Something that's so bad that you have to watch it again, it's so freakin' bad. What about that Christmas movie set in the future where Christmas was banned? I didn't see that, but it sounds bad enough. This was just a dumb show.

OMG I'm two seconds into it and I already want to change the channel. I hope this gets better when Bernadette comes on.
