What an amazing concert! I don't have much to add to what others have written, but her voice sounded incredible last night. Almost every song she sang was so emotionally relevant, you could tell the audience was feeling for her and supporting her 110%.
The Fanadette Bash was great as well! It was great seeing everyone - waiting for the next occasion for a gathering!

Lindsey.. who is kicking herself for not waiting five more minutes at the stage door....

The show itself was thrilling! It had been a while since I had seen Bernadette in concert and what a perfect evening.

Also, great to meet some new people and see everyone else! Also, I'd like to give a big shout out to BLISS becuase I was thinking before hand if we would see her and we did!! Awesome.

I too noticed the missing wedding ring. Granted I had nose bleed seats and couldn't tell if it was just my eyes or if it was really missing.

Also, this is a general statement to anyone who would like a BCEFA bandana. I have 8 left so anyone who would like one, please PM me and I'll sent it to you.

Excuse me again for posting anonymously...man I need to figure out what my name and password were. The night sounded amazing and I definitely prayed for her, being such a big night and not having the support from her husband I'm sure she's used to.

Not that its any of my business really, because that is her personal life, but she had on her wedding ring on the 22nd when I met her in B'ham.

A little bummed she sang a few of my fave songs that she left out here which were Time Heals...Rose's Turn...and Move On.

I'm happy for everyone, magical it sounds.

Just wanted to say that I apologize if my mention of her rings came across as gossipy. Didn't mean it to, I was honestly just wondering about something I observed. I know we all respect Bernadette's privacy (and her desire for it) so I just wanted to say I didn't mean to offend anyone by mentioning such a personal matter.

There were a couple of professional photographers who came down to the front to take pictures during her curtain call...so I'm expecting our News Maintainer to find those pictures soon.

(Yeah, we all had our cameras with us but I'm sure we were all envisioning the same thing - Bernadette shaking her finger at us and saying tsk tsk)

Great pictures. Glad to see George and our webmaster made it.

I think Marvin started to play the intro to "Isn't He Something" during that moment when their running order got out of sync. Kind of broke the mood she might have been going for between Shenandoah and Not A Day Goes By, but they handled it with such easy humor that it worked in a different way. I actually thought she meant that the show (previously Wise Guys, Gold, Bounce)was untitled, not the song. But then I also thought she first said Sondheim was saying it was "I'm Tired."

Either way, I got my wish and got to hear her sing something from that show and what else could be as enthralling except maybe Bernadette singing a lusty "Nothing Like a Dame", a sultry, sexy "Fever," a beautiful "Some Enchanted Evening," a powerful "Time Heals Everything," a full-throated "Being Alive" a riveting "Rose's Turn" or perhaps "Shenandoah" sung in glorious, mesmerizing head tones -- heaven in a concert hall. I wonder what it feels like to be greeted by such prolonged, adoring applause. I think the entrance applause lasted for almost one minute and could have gone on longer if she didn’t cue Marvin to start the first number and the applause was so loud between her last number and the encore, I couldn't even hear the orchestra's bow music.

I just have to add that hearing "Shenandoah" sung by Bernadette in that amazing concert hall was something almost mystical. That and "With So Little to be Sure of". Really an amazing experience.

I still think she should add one of the songs from the Muppet Show into her song list.

I agree, Christine.

I went to the concert with my father, who wound up sitting directly behind Stephen Sondheim. He said he looked like he enjoyed it, particularly that "untitled" song...but then how couldn't he?

Those of us in the first rows got lucky when Bernadette was singing "Count Your Blessings." She caught my eye and smiled for a few seconds and I was in heaven.

It's fantastic that there's a group of people out there who understand how ecstatically happy that made me. I hope all of you were just as happy with last night!

By the way, I saw all of you Fanadettes there last night. I'm sorry I didn't say 'hello,' but i was a little too anxious about meeting Bernadette, and was with a friend- who although knows about this FABULOUS website is not a member and probably wouldn't understand- lol. Next time I will definitely say hello! you all looked lovely!
