I want to go to the dinner but would need to go with someone to split up the price. Is anyone interested in going?

I would defintely be interested. I can get tickets because I received an invitation. They were not made available to the general public.

It was miraculous really. Accompanied by Sondheim and without a microphone, Bernadette sang "Broadway Baby" and "Children and Art", a song she hasn't sung asn't sung since the anniversary concert of Sunday which took place 10 years ago. They took questions for about 1/2 hour after. It was intimate and lovely. I didn't go to the dinner.

And they raised about $130,000 for Sondheim's Young Playwrights, Inc.

Ohhh...she did "Children and Art?" WOW. That must have been STUNNING.

And how wonderful that they were able to raise all that in one evening!

We need more details. What was she wearing? How many songs in total did she sing? What was the audiences reaction? What type of questions did they ask her and Sondheim? If you get a chance we would love more details. Thanks
