Hi everyone!!

I need a technical question answered from the "tech-savy" people here on the boards:

I wanted to know if there was any way of taking my Bernadette concert on DVD and somehow transfering that onto a CD. Is this even possible??

If someone could answer that question, I'd really appreciate it!

Thanks a lot!

--Jeff

hmmmmmmmm.......I don't think so. Unless perhaps, now this is just an idea, but it works with videos so here goes....if you a double decker dvd player, perhaps you could put a blank cd in one deck and record your av channel while its playing. i have no idea if thats possible though.

they say bernadette's wonderful..........and she is

If you have the ability to download your DVD onto your computer and then burn an audio CD from the same file, perhaps it will work but its just a guess.

Umm..

I've seen people put movies out on the internet like on WinMX--(I've tested by typing in "Shrek" and SOO MANY ppl had that file)......

I know that u can buy a drive for DVD burning (for the computer) (not the same as a cd burner)...and u can buy blank DVD-CDs...

Though.....I'm not quite sure if it's even legal to copy somethign like that LOL....but yes I'm sure that it is possible to do that --to answer u'r question.

Take care,
Stacy

if you had a dvd burner and a blank cd, you would be able to copy the dvd.
but you can't put a dvd on a cd because dvds are much bigger files and cd's don't hold that much stuff. if the cd was big enough it might work but i don't think so.
sorry.

Someone burned a DVD for me once on CD - it took 2 CDs. And it barely fit. It's possible - it just takes multiple disks. And you have to make sure your burner program recognizes the file you want to burn. Otherwise, either get a new program or give up.
