I was quite confused tonight at our rehearsal for Assassins when the topic of Gypsy came up.
A friend of mine INSISTS that John Dossett was out of Gypsy for a month and that Tom Wopat took his place. He swears by it and says he read it in either the Post or the Times.
Am I losing my mind, or is my friend?

Your friend has definitely lost his mind. Tom Wopat was never in Gypsy with Bernadette and John Dossett never took a whole month off from the show.

I can attest to that. I went at least once a month and I never saw anyone other than John.

Yes! THANK you. I consider myself an expert when it comes to anything Gypsy, let alone this revival, but he was very convincing in his arguments. I plan on printing this out and waving it in his face. Thanks again.
