Is Bernadette considered to be too young to be an honoree at Lincoln Center? Geezz! Tina Turner?! She's good,but.......

Tina Turner is 9 years older than Bernadette and has not done much "career-wise" in several years. I'm sure its part Bernadette's age, Bernadette's assumed age (younger than she actually is) and the fact that she is still working quite a bit that has kept her from being honored during any of these life time awards ceremony. They do seem to be handed out at the end of a career.
