Great! And I love it that they used bernadette-peters.com (this site) rather than bernadettepeters.com (her official site).

Anyone watching this now? I missed the first twenty minutes of the first hour. I bet I missed her segment...

She was on about 15 minutes into the show...a short segment from the release party for the latest CD. A very short interview and then she sang "Children Will Listen."

"Let's admit one thing right upfront: With the possible exception of Bernadette Peters, not everyone stays young and cute forever." (NYPost 2/2/05)

Wonderful but very, very brief--probably the shortest segment on the show. It was such a treat to hear an unamplified "Children Will Listen."

yeah i watched from about 8:30-9:30 and then figured I missed it Sad. The Pillowman segment and the interview W/the Bridges of Madison County author were interesting though. I love that movie w/Meryl!

Wow. I just watched my tape of the interview. She looked and sounded stunning, but my GOD, what a horrible segment! The THINGS they could have talked about! An unfortunately poor and all-too-brief snipit on behalf of A&E. (Perhaps I'm being a bit harsh, but I don't feel like cooling off before I post my thoughts)

I just watched this. My feeling is: something is better than nothing.

She sounds really strong singing Children Will Listen. Glad to see that Gypsy did not hurt her voice.

sorry I missed it...but Jean...you know Gypsy didn't damage her voice based on the Boston concert! ...
