You can't listen to Jonathan Schwartz's shows on the internet anymore--something about contractural problems. Nor do they provide tapes or transcripts.

Those who are able to listen to it, please report.

Sign up for a free 3 day trial of XM Radio at xmradio.com. Then tune in to ch 73. You should be able to hear it.

Yeah could someone please post a report. I tried to listen but the radio had so much static that I couldn't understand a word. I hear the AGYG clip though.

HE'S MY JOEY!!!!!!!!

Oh, my god, that was adorable.

The host was asking about her siblings and wanted to know if her brother went by Joseph or Joe. Bernadette said usually Joseph but "He's my Joey!"

Very good interview though the host is a bit intense for me.

She played Hit the Road, Jack but Ray Charles and said she and Donna used to sing it together so of course that's all I could visualize while it was playing.

And the story about how she had to rush home at night taking off all her make-up, etc. in the taxi so she could run in the house and get in bed before her father woke up to go to work. "He didn't think it was appropriate for his daughter to be out carousing at 2 a.m.".

I agree. One of the most thorough and revealing interviews of Bernadette I've ever heard.

Schwartz: So then it came time for you to play Ethel Merman

Bernadette: Well it came time for me to play Rose.

You tell him, Bernadette!

Sorry, his comment just really got under my skin.
