Of course Bernadette's concert Aug. 8th in NYC is at the Ector Theatre not Feinstein's! (Wonder why I wrote that)?! Too many concerts to keep track of!

Just a little excited, eh, Patty?? Don't blame you! I'd like to join you but air fare to Toronto is close to $400; that all adds up to a bit much, especially considering my out-of-country trips this year. Anyway, you know the drill: complete description of the gown, what she sings, how she sounds, and I really like it when people describe the audience and the ambience. Oh yes, photos. And what did you eat for dinner (joke).
And just to absolutley clarify lest someone get confused, here is the Ector Theater in Odessa, Texas concert on Aug. 5 thread:

Is Bernadette having a concert in NYC or is that a misprint? I almost fell out of my chair when I read that!

OK, try again: there is NO Aug 8 concert--anywhere. It is Aug 5, and it is in Odessa, Texas.
Patty tried to correct her misprint but didn't quite do it. I tried to correct it but apparently didn't do it either. (Note to Patty--how about using the edit feature and changing the 8 to a 5 and deleting NYC in your post?)

I almost had a heart attack! My mother will have 4 tickets to the Bernadette concert on August 5th - the concert itself is in Midland, TX (20 miles from Odessa) and it is for Ector Theatricals members only. My Mom called Ector Theatricals to confirm her membership and she wanted to go ahead and get her seats but they said they would let her know when to call for them - she replied, "but I know her! I talked to her in Houston". I had to laugh so hard.

Sorry all, for the confusion! Maybe I should wait for the concert dates to appear on the calendar...perhaps I should be committed to a home for the "excited but confused"!!
And Jean, I tried going back to edit the dates on my original post, but couldn't! Explain at a later date--not now--I'm too CONFUSED!!-but thanks ,anyway...
