If I'm getting it purely to see Bernadette (although I know that there are other wonderful performances on it) is it worth it?

Absolutely! Even the other performers on stage applaud BP's "Being Alive"

I wholeheartedly agree with what's been said. She's at her very best. "Unexpected Song" is amazing! Everything she did that night is unsurpassable. And, as anon said, it's just so much fun to see all those distinguished performers reacting with awe to her "Being Alive" rendition.

I just got it. Was Bernadette just in You Got To Get a Gimmick, Being Alive and Unexpected Song? Unexpected Song is wonderful and You Got To Get A Gimmick was so funny but Bernadette seemed kind of tired. What and where was this? And who were the other ladies singing You Got To Get A Gimmick?

Ruthie Henshall was one and someone else will have to help me out with the name of the other. She's also in the curtain call (along with everyoen else) but there's a great close up of her. I think that Being Alive is my favorite one of hers

Why does it say Side By Side Sondheim on the wall during the second DVD? Is that the same night? And does anyone know the translation of the bios?
