I was so excited when the announcement came about Bernadette's GYPSY CD signing. Our first stop was off to the mall for some new "duds". It didn't take me long to spot the perfect outfit. There it was in all its glory!! I secretly hoped to appear with Bernadette in GYPSY; maybe I should apply for an understudy. Oh well, I really look grand in my new get up!
Everyone was very cordial & friendly as we waited in line. Several people recognized me & wanted to chat. The line moved quickly to inside the store and there she was -- Bernadette looked so pretty (Tom wasn't bad either). I was a little disappointed that Tammy couldn't make it. Everything was very organized and before I knew it, I was introducing myself to Tom as Broadway's show dog. The neatest thing was that as soon as Bernadette saw me, she gave me a big smile. She remembered me!! I was so nervous that I fell over. Patty quickly sat me up again. I'm very grateful to Patty that thanks to her it wasn't an embarrassing moment for me. Bernadette even hugged me when we posed for a picture together. She definitely is the best!!
I felt kind of sad when I hung my new costume in the closet, but I have lots of wonderful memories of today and can always listen to the dynamic GYPSY CD whenever I want.
