Our beloved Bernadette was born today at 1:15 in the afternoon as Bernadette Lazzara. She was born in Queens, New York, to parents Marguerite and Peter Lazzara.

MARRIAGE

Bernadette married Michael Wittenberg. The ceremony was held at the New York country home of her friend, Mary Tyler Moore.

Sep 17, 1998

London Debut

Bernadette makes her long-awaited London debut at The Royal Festival Hall on the South Bank. She is greeted by a standing ovation as she walks on stage - that standing ovation was only the first of many that night.

She performed her concert, "Live From The Royal Festival Hall", which was later to be broadcast on PBS (In America).
