My account was unaccessable for weeks. I don't know why. I think it was my computer. Anyway, I did not die.

Is anyone else going to the first preview of Grey gardens?
I bought the CD, and I am still obsessed. haha

Chip and I will be there. We're extremely organized...but I won't be wearing a kimono. We'll probably have corn for supper. You should join us.

I would love to join you both.

No kimono here either, but I might just fashion a poncho from a duvet.

You'll look absolutely terrific, honestly. We'll all be a little amazed.

I think I'll wear an ensemble of panty hose worn over shorts, worn under the skirt, that doubles as a cape.

Just be careful. Honestly. They can get you in the theatre district for wearing red shoes on a Thursday, and all that sort of thing.

I was interested in getting a ticket to the first preview and it says that balcony tickets are only sold at the box office. Does anyone know if they are sold out for the 1st preview?

I'm not surprised. That show was selling out and extending like crazy when it was off Broadway.
I ordered my ticket in June.

Just read that Maureen Moore is Christine Ebersole's standby for the show.

A reminder: the original documentary is on TCM tonight. Should be really good.

I recorded this documentary on my computer and can't figure out how to transfer it to a DVD....

If someone recorded this either on DVD or VHS and would be willing to send me a copy, please PM me. Thanks!

I saw Grey Gardens yesterday and was completely blown away by Christine Ebersole's performance. The second act, in particular, is phenomenal. If you have the opportunity to see this show, don't pass it up!

I'm gonna bump this in the hopes that someone recorded the TCM airing of Grey Gardens. I cant get my copy off my computer and I really want one I can view on my TV. I'm particularly looking for the one that was on Turner Classic Movies b/c it had interviews with Christine Ebersole and Mary Louise Wilson.

If anyone has a copy they would be willing to copy for me, let me know.

Thanks!
