2006 Tony Awards

Time to speculate who will win, who will host and who will present!

I heard from Bernadette herself that she is going to Umbria on May 22nd for 2 weeks to shoot a movie called "Ants" with F. Murray Abraham - so that puts her back in NYC in time to at least be a presenter. (Like how I snuck this in?)(It's not up on IMDB so I don't know much about it and didn't have time to ask her.)

This is exciting! And when and where did Bernadette tell you this? Over tea?

That stealth announcement is very exciting news!

As for the Tonys, I hope Sweeney Todd and History Boys win everything they're up for. I'd like Drowsy Chaperone to win a lot too--but not any category where it's competing against Sweeney.

Umbria -- as in Italy? "Ants" I'm thinking Sci-Fi Horror, cartoon or documentary. Wasn't there already an Antz? Maybe it's "Aunts?"

I asked Bernadette if it was "aunts" or "ants" and she said "ants like the insect and it's only me and F. Murray Abraham" but then she had to go so I didn't get a plot or more information. It makes me think that maybe it's animated. But there's already an animated movie about ants so I don't know. Maybe when the News Officer returns from The West, she will find out for us.
