Can I nominate Jean to remind us all of this in April?

"Let's admit one thing right upfront: With the possible exception of Bernadette Peters, not everyone stays young and cute forever." (NYPost 2/2/05)

I am so excited! yeay for PBS!

"I chose and my world was shaken. So what? The choice may have been mistaken; the choosing was not. You have to move on."

"Sometimes people leave you, halfway through the wood. Others may deceive you You decide what's good. You decide alone, But no one is alone."

I had the good fortune of being in the audience the night this was taped for PBS. It was an astonishing evening of theatre.

Though it was "sold" on the star-power of Reba McIntire, the real star is Brian Stokes-Mitchell. His performance was moving and brilliant. I defy anyone not to be moved to tears by his "This Nearly Was Mine."
