If you like Daniel Bruhl who plays the young man in "Ladies in Lavender" and you like foreign films, definitely check out "Goodbye Lenin". I saw it at the Angelika in 2003 and it's a wonderfully sweet and funny film. Daniel Bruhl is a doll. Also featured in "Ladies in Lavender" is the music of violin hunk Joshua Bell, and it just doesn't get much better than that.

I watched "Jersey Girl" last night. lol Before I get the eye rolls it was a surprisingly cute film. A friend of mine reccomended that I watch it, so I did. Ben Affleck is adorable, and the little girl playing his daughter is a good little child actress. My favorite thing is how she keeps saying she wants to see "Cats" on Broadway, and her Father refuses to let her have anything to do with that show. So he tells her to pick something else, and she picks "Sweeney Todd." LMAO Then she decides she wants to do a scene from Sweeney in her school show...and she does. She is only 7 years old, playing Mrs. Lovette.

It was so fantastic to see Anika Noni Rose up there holding her own with the big superstar celebrities. Overall, fantastic set, costumes and of course music! If there was any negative aspect to the film it would be Beyonce's acting (if thats what you call it these days). Hudson held her own very very well along with Rose.
