Anyone else remember this?
It aired in the early 80's, but I remember renting the videos in the 90's.
Bernadette played Sleeping Beauty in one episode. That's when I first was "introduced" to her.
Christopher Reeves played the prince.
Just wondering if anyone else saw this?

I don't remember that episode, but i do remember the show. I loved it. It came on Disney Channel until the early-mid 90s (mainly as reruns from the 80s)....But yeah i remember the show itself....Shelly Duvall always did a little speech at the beginnings of the shows and then introduced what story it was.......loved the show.......wish it was still around....

I didn't watch the series when it first aired but have a copy of Sleeping Beauty with Bernadette and Christopher Reeve. My initial and long lasting reaction: This was a children's show!!!!??? There was certainly a great deal of sexual innuendo and themes to the show particularly in the Princess Debbie portions. I really felt a lot of it was inappropriate for children. Though I liked the show for the most part and loved the part where Bernadette sang. She was a perfect Sleeping Beauty and a downright slutty Princess Debbie.

Hence the username. That's where I first saw her. I'm so excited cuz I'm playing Sleeping Beauty right now. Two Bernadette roles down...a million to go...

is there a petition we can sign to get this series on DVD? The videos have been out of print for a while and they are all wonderful.
