Can anyone tell me where the stage door at the Shubert Theater? I am seeing the show (actually my first broadway show ever) this Friday and I would LOVE to meet Bernadette Peters after the show. Thanks for the help!

Hey there. And congrats on your first Broadway show! That is fantastic! You never forget your first show. (And how lucky are you, that your first show ever should be 'Gypsy.')

The stage door for the Shubert Theatre is located in Shubert Alley, which is right next to the theatre. You'll see the barricades lined up against the wall (before the show) and after the show, they'll be all set up around the door. Also, next to the stage door is a theatre shop where you can buy all sorts of theatre goodies. The 'Show' magazine with Bernadette on the cover is currently on sale in there.

Again, welcome Broadwayfan, and have fun at the show! Let us know how it went.

Regis: And look at all this hair. My God. That's a lot of hair. Look at this. How does hair get this way?
Bernadette: Um.. it sort of grew out of my head like this.

In Shubert Alley which connects 2 streets. The Marriott hotel is on one side. I think it even says "stage door" on the door.
