Audrey Hepburn was Richard Crenna's wife in Wait Until Dark, and Crenna, of course, was Bernadette Peters's boyfriend in All's Fair.

Can I start one?

Connect Judy Garland to Bernadette in 3 degrees or less.

Well I'm sure there are more interesting ways but here goes:

Judy Garland was played by Judy Davis and Judy Davis was in Impromptu with Bernadette.

Also, Judy's Garland's daughter, Liza Minnelli was briefly married to Peter Allen. And Peter Allen and Bernadette did a concert tour together. (Bernadette got the better reviews of the two. Hee Hee)

Cool! The ones I was thinking of were different.

Judy's daughter Lorna Luft knows Tammy Blanchard (because she played Judy) and Tammy plays Bernadette's daughter in Gypsy.

Also, Judy's daughter Liza Minnelli performed with Bernadette at the Tonys in 1996.

Here's another way: Judy Garland was in Babes in Arms and about a million other movies with Mickey Rooney, who was in W.C. with Bernadette.

Wow, Karen. You are really good at this. Getting 'em in two steps.
Try this: Dolly Parton.

Oh, well, I'm just not gonna play with you anymore. You're just too darn good!!

Thought I had a real stumper there. (Mine was more complicated, in 4: Dolly was in "9to5" with Lily Tomlin, who was in "Tea with Mussolini" with Dame Judi Dench, who was in "Mrs. Brown" with Billy Connolly, who was Hamish in "Prince Charming" with Bernadette.

Also, Dolly Parton played herself on Bette Midler's short lived TV show, Bette played Mama Rose in the TV version of Gypsy which also starred Andrea Martin, who (as we know from another post) starred in "Prince Charming" with Bernadette, and also hosted Broadway Barks 4 with Bernadette.

Since nobody posted the next person, how about Marsha Mason in 3 degrees or less (because it can be done in 2, and in more than one way).

Yup. That's one of the ones I was thinking of. The other (because I don't think a lot of people would get it) was:
Marsha Mason was in "Nick Of Time" with Christopher Walkin, and Walkin was in "Pennies From Heaven" with Bernadette.

Also, Marsha played Paula in the movie version of "The Goodbye Girl." Which was Bernadette's role on Broadway.
Good job though.

Here's one. See what you can do with Carmen Miranda. Unfortunately I have this inconvenient little thing called a job where they actually have the nerve to expect me to work once in awhile, so I won't be back to check the answers for a few hours. Wish I could just stay and play all day. Sigh.

Carmen Miranda with in A Date with Judy with Elizabeth Taylor, who was in National Velvet with Mickey Rooney, who was in lots of movies with Judy Garland, whose daughter is Liza Minnelli, who performed with Bernadette at the Tonys.

Gosh, that's a coincidence, Karen. I have an inconvenient little thing too. But the boss is at the dentist (heehee), so I say, "Play on, Macduff!"

Carmen Miranda?!? jeepers. that's tough. Best I can do is
she was in a movie with Betty Grable who played Annie in the movie, Annie Get Your Gun and Bernadette Peters played Annie too.
