I posted this on my other thread but no responses-
Question about a backdrop- during "Everything's Coming up Roses" and the beginning of Act 2 there was a backdrop of a sky with clouds with a black stripe on the bottom. Does anyone know what the purpose of this backdrop is? It didn't make any dramatic sense...

I don't understand it either. During previews they had great scenery with what looked like a train tunnel and tracks. I thought it looked wonderful, but all of a sudden they changed it to that backdrop and you can't even tell its a train station.
