My hair is straight straight straight! Sometimes I wish it had more personality, but then I think of all those poor girls who have to spend so much time just to make sure their hair isn't frizzy.
Curly hair is so pretty and fun, but it must take an awful a lot of patience to put up with!
While on this topic, Bernadette must have one good wig cap to keep all that hair under control when she wears the Gypsy wig!

And then Bernadette comes out after the show with her real hair looking fabulous! (Graham Webb must make some great products!)
The Liza make-up line sounds it could be fun...I can see it being very glamorous with lots of bold, dramatic eye shadows. Can't wait to see the print ads!
I absolutely agree that Bernadette would make the perfect spokesperson for hair, make-up, or skin care products. Not only is she gorgeous, she also has such a positive, youthful energy that is genuine. While I don't doubt that Bernadette could be a spokesperson, do you think she would want to be one? How do you think she would feel about having her image somewhat commercialized?

That's why I think she would be a perfect spokesperson for them! She also goes through a process to get her hair looking so great. I could just picture a commercial showing Bernadette finishing one night at Gypsy, going to her dressing room, taking the wig off (revealing her beautiful...yet disheveled hair), grabbing a bottle of any hair product by Graham Webb, and then walking out the stage door looking fabulous!

From: London | posted: 6/29/2003 at 2:36:37 PM ET I know what you mean, Cindy!
I have naturally curly/frizzy hair too!
It never really bothered me until I became a teenager. But I've finally found a way of keeping it absolutely silky smooth and straight with NO FRIZZ!!!!
What I do is -
I was my hair with Dove shampoo for dry/damaged hair (can't have enough moisture!) followed by the same conditioner and plenty of it!!!
Then I comb it through, divide it into sections, spray each one with Fructus Anti-frizz serum, and blow dry slowly on a low heat with a rounded brush.
After that, I run over kinks with my straightner and then I'm done!!!
it takes about 1hr 30mins but it really is worth it. if i want my hair curly I spray it with frizz-ease perfect curls, scrunch it up and leave it to dry naturally. But the trouble with that is that it goes all dry and manky the next. AArrgh!!!
they say bernadette's wonderful..........and she is

When I said she goes through a process to get her hair to look like that, I didn't intend to type out the whole process...I didn't have all day. LOL I don't even know what her whole process is.

Registered: 6/25/2003 | posted: 6/29/2003 at 4:01:52 PM ET LOL my best friend has super curly hair and it doesn't take much effort for her to get it looking nice if she wants to leave it curly (straightening it is another story!)
From what I understand, she just takes a shower, uses tons of conditioner, brushes it, runs a combination of a couple curly hair products through her hair and goes. It dries looking beautiful!

My arms get tired just working with curly hair...she must have some pretty good arm muscles lol.

| posted: 6/30/2003 at 12:00:32 AM ET Actually, I'm pretty sure she does her own hair for the most part. I'm sure for certain events she has a stylest, but for her concerts and TV interviews it's pretty much all her.

Registered: 3/10/2001 | posted: 6/30/2003 at 12:06:13 AM ET She does her own hair and make-up for her concerts and (depending) for TV interviews as well. I know at REGIS she will do her hair before going to the show, there is a hair stylist there who will fix her hair before the show and during commercials but that's it.

Registered: 3/10/2001 | posted: 6/30/2003 at 12:51:06 AM ET Well, when you're doing a show that is not a big Broadway production or a big touring production and you're not a lead role then you've got to learn how to do your own make up. Even performers on Broadway will do their own make-up...after years of experience its not too difficult
