Ooooh. Lily Bart is a great part for an actress who can play pathos without going into histrionics. A beautiful woman who falls into the depths of despair....the ending is heartbreaking,but you know it's coming.
There's a hint of anti-Semitism in the book-wonder how that's going to be handled.
Otherwise-gosh. I am super impressed and interested. If it works out,it will be one heck of a devastating show. The novel definitely lends itself to a dramatic score. Definitely keep tabs on this one,folks. Now I want to reread it.
