Says that Gypsy is going to open in January 2003. I thought it was supposed to be later?

Bobby's Girl premieres on June 9th for those with Showtime.

It's not opening in January. That is when it starts rehearsals. The columnist didn't exactly write it would be opening then but I agree that is what he inferred. I know for sure the rehearsals won't start any earlier than January. I think they are hoping for an April opening - just in time to be eligible for Tonys.
