I never saw this until now, but apparently Bernadette was famous enough in the early 1980s that they used an imitator (fairly bad one) in this rock music video.

Speaking of which, remember that utterly fabulous music video from the late 1980s with Bernadette? I mean the one with clips from Slaves Of New York that was set to Good Life by Inner City. It was on YouTube for years until some "rights" holder took it off. It's no longer available, but here's an attempt to redo some of it.
Good Life, etc.
