How stupid can she be? Did she even realize Bernadette will be re-viving that role in a matter of months?

I can picture Liza Minnelli in that role faster than Catherine Zeta Jones! I'm sorry, but Mama Rose is not a tall Brunette from Whales! Seriously, out of all the roles on Broadway, she picks the one least likely to be possible. LOL

She said it was something she wanted to do eventually not right now. She is obvioulsy too young to do it now. Just like Bernadette has expressed a desire to play Amanda in The Glass Menagerie one day. I understood her to mean she hopes it is revived again in several years when she is ready to take on the role. I don't think she said anything stupid.

Whether she meant now or later, can you honestly picture her (ever) in that role?

I can actually see how one might infer that she meant she wants to play the role now. She did say " I wanna play Mama Rose. I'm just growing towards that. I'm hoping that the revival's gonna be coming around again, so I can play it" Now *I* knew she meant as in a long time from now because I knew she couldnt be THAT out of touch with what's going on with the show and Broadway right now ( I mean Bernadette did just film a movie with her husband) but she kept saying "revival"- which is coming up soon so I can see why people would assume she meant now. I honestly can't picture her ever being Mama Rose.
