Thanks, Jenny! The fact that it is on BBC One will mean the widest national exposure for Bernadette tonight - it will be screened from Land's End to John O' Groats.
Last night TCM screened Pennies From Heaven ... who knows? with just a little more of her films showing up on national TV perhaps the name Bernadette Peters will become a more familiar one in the UK.
as Bernadette says....just keep moving on.....

Actually, BP will be screened beyond John O Groats tonight as I completely forgot BBC One reaches Northern Ireland too.
I keep hoping that her Italian film might show up on BBC Two or Four someday soon. It's quite likely as we do get a reasonable amount of Continental Films on the Beeb.

oh and I came across the last 20 minutes of Holiday in your heart on Five Life or Five US...one of the new digi-channels! I can't watch anything tonight unless I go into my dad's spare room because the aerial snapped of our roof in the extreme wind and is now laying on our patio. The man is coming to fix it tomorrow but thats too late now ISN'T IT?!!
