From: Michigan | posted: 1/21/2007 at 6:32:06 AM ET Ticketmaster has a show on Feb. 14 listed at the Grand Ole Opry House with the Nashville Chamber Orchestra. I don't think this is listed on the calendar here or on her official website. Anyone know anything about this?

Just thought I'd point that out. No reason.

I didn't know performers could withdraw so close to the performance date except when ill. I remember when Peters performed at the opening of an arts center several years ago, the article mentioned her having the standard out clause allowing the artist to back out if film, TV or bigger offers came up, but they had negotiated a 60 day notice for this appearance and said she agreed not to withdraw no matter what else she was offered two months prior.

Registered: 5/3/2002 | posted: 2/14/2007 at 12:12:37 AM ET It was late notice, but the concert itself was announced very late too--only about three weeks ago. It was almost like it was squeezed in at the last minute and then it didn't work out.

Registered: 6/26/2003 | posted: 2/14/2007 at 12:22:51 AM ET Ah, I didn't realize it had only shown up 3 weeks ago. Maybe they didn't have time to sell enough tickets, although I hope she is working on something. I guess it won't be a Valentine's Day concert anymore.

Registered: 5/3/2002 | posted: 2/15/2007 at 9:02:14 AM ET Uh-oh, someone from Nashville started a thread on BroadwayWorld about Bernadette being a "no show." Apparently a lot of people went to the theatre unaware that the concert had been cancelled. They're understandably somewhat miffed about the whole thing.
Edit: The same person also posted a complaint in the guest book on her official site. He/she sounds pretty mad.
