this was theeee most amazing night of my life- meeting my idol, giving her my letter, talking to her, and getting a picture... i can die happy.
not to mention, how amazing did she sound tonight?
there were some pretty incredible moments on that stage tonight. moments where i felt so incredibly connected to everything she was saying and doing. she blew me away.
there are just too many moments to describe now- i am off to bed. but, given the chance tomorrow, i will write out some of my interpretations/observations.

Great, GREAT concert. She sounded happy, which was nice.
2 funny moments:
1. During "Nothing Like a Dame" she went down the stairs, into the audience, and was being all "seductive" to some man on the aisle.
Some other songs she sang that were not listed are:
Mister Snow
Time Heals Everything
You Could Drive A Person Crazy
With So Little To Be Sure Of
Being Alive
Not A Day Goes By
She brought out a man (Robert something) who played a harmonica while she sang with no other music. It was *almost* acapella (sp?).
What was the name of that song? It was very peaceful, and so nice to JUST hear her voice carry through Lincoln Center without a band to back her.
After she sang that song is funny moment #2. Marvin started to play the introduction to the next song; and it was the wrong song. lol Bernadette just shook her head, turned around and walked back toward the piano. Marvin finished the small bit in a joking way on the piano. She threw her hand towards him as if like, "Oh that Marvin." hehe It was cute.
I don't know what song he started to play. It almost sounded like the beginning of "Sooner or Later"? It wasn't. I think it was actually a song that she had already sung earlier that night. But the song that she was supposed to sing was "Not A Day Goes By."
The concert was amazing. Bernadette was so sweet afterwards, stopping and talking to people.
It was great seeing friends I hadn't seen in a while, AND meeting new people from here that I've wanted to meet.

You should have waited Megan. It was about, a quarter to 11 by the time she came out. There was a very small crowd...fans, but only a small portion, and she knew pretty much everyone there so she didn't rush off.

She did chat and recognized some of her fans. I had never met her (i'm still in a daze) and she was so sweet and generous. I gave her a letter I wrote to her. She looked stunning! And, was just ah- i'm speechless... remarkable

| posted: 5/2/2006 at 11:40:57 AM ET Just a few of my comments. Yes, an amazing concert. The NYC audience gave her thunderous applause when she walked on stage that lasted a LONG time. She had three extremely long, standing ovations. Not the typical "we'll stand because its the end of the show" but people jumped and and applauded enthusiastically for several minutes without it letting up. This is why I particularly love to go to concerts in town because there is so much love for her with her friends, family, colleagues and the rest of the theater community. I agree she looked fabulous in her new dress and sounded great. I felt she didn't do very much in between song patter (other than the standard) which I was expecting at a NYC concert but maybe she was on a time constraint because of the gala dinner afterward that she wasn't able to let loose if she wanted. She was so much funnier and relaxed at Radio City. So that was my only complaint. My mother LOVED the concert and we've been talking about it constantly since last night. My mom's comment about the audience was that they obviously genuinely loved her and you could tell that was because she is a genuinely nice person.
I am so sorry I didn't see ANY of you last night. We arrived fairly close to the concert start time and since we were in the middle of a row, we had to sit down and stay put. I looked for you all after the concert but didn't see anyone. This is why I like intermissions!!!! Anyway, MTM walked in the hall right in front of us and my mom was impressed. Because of our beeline to our seats we didn't see any other celebrities but we assumed they were there. Fabulous night. Glad the bash on Sunday went well.
Oh, and I must ask: I'm assuming everyone else noticed that the wedding ring was missing. Was this a fashion choice (the pinky ring was also missing) or was it Bernadette starting to move on?
Also saw the tears in her eyes and streaming down her face after Not A Day Goes By and LOVED, LOVED, LOVED Shenandoah with the harmonica accompaniment Breath taking with her voice (as many have said) a capella at times floating through Avery Fisher Hall. I was a little disappointed she didn't sing My Funny Valentine but the new song from Sondheim's "new show" was a thrill.

Almost every song she sang was so emotionally relevant, you could tell the audience was feeling for her and supporting her 110%.
The Fanadette Bash was great as well! It was great seeing everyone - waiting for the next occasion for a gathering!
Lindsey.. who is kicking herself for not waiting five more minutes at the stage door....
