I saw ITW in NYC yesterday and thought it was great! It's always been one of my favorites.. just wish I could've seen BP as the witch. That cow is just too cool for words

LoL to the cow...I saw the mini behind the scenes thing on the Tonys...the cow was very springy! It looked like fun to do...
Anyhoo, I love ITW too. I should prob. see it on B'way, only I'm afraid I won't like it as much as the original.

I didn't like it as much as the original. It's not just because Bernadette wasn't in it (although that was a factor), but I thought the dancing was silly and I don't know....I can't quite put my finger on it....I just think the original told a better story.
What I did like about the new version is the scenery, and I thought the princes were better (they were funnier).

yes i saw the revival and altho i only saw the original on tape, i liked the original better. i'm not quite sure why. but the revival was very very very good, and there were a lot of things i liked better (the witch was not one of them). i dunno, i didnt really like vanessa as the witch. but it was still very good.
