I MET STEPHEN SONDHEIM AND I SHOOK HIS HAND!!!! About an hour before curtain, at the stage door, I saw him walk out and I just said "Mr. Sondheim! Can I shake your hand?" He turned to me, smiled and grabbed my hand. AMMMMMMMMMMMMMAAAAAAAZING! THE MASTER!!!
The show was, without a doubt her finest performance. So nice to see all the posters there.
Linnie: Hi! (shakes hand)
Me: I met Sondheim, and shook his hand!
Linnie: I'll shake your hand again!
The numbers that closed the first and second acts will go down in history books, she has never performed them like the did today. I just got home and have people to email about my spectacular day so I'll write more later.
PM me with all your questions--
THANK YOU PA FAN, my hero for the day who treated to such a magnificent day of HISTORY.
Bye loves!

| posted: 5/30/2004 at 10:24:40 PM ET Okay, I've never done one of these online photo albums before so I hope this works. Some of the pictures didn't turn out all that well but I posted them anyway, just so you can see them. I was just taking photos so fast that some were not completely in focus. Plus the lighting kind of got in my way because of where I was sitting. But I hope you enjoy them. Let me know if anyone has problems viewing them.

Thank you for your post-it sounds lovely. How wonderful that you were able to go.
And you,Noah, shaking Stephen Sondheim's hand! Very cool.
I'm so happy to hear about the intense audience response. That must have been so gratifying for the cast and crew. I'm thrilled.

In the mean time, PM me your e-mails and I know I can send you access that way. I was just trying to do it through one link.

| posted: 5/30/2004 at 11:02:50 PM ET Hey just got back from the show and I just want to add one thing....it was AMAZING!!! lol. Just brillant. A few side notes: I caught my 2nd garder- yay and I by mistake bumped into Donna(BP's sister) who by the way looks EXACTLY like her with straight hair. The show was amazing and BLISS, you made me cry when you started to cry...WE LOVE YOU! Thanks for waving to me! Just to end, for myself and I'm sure many others this is the end of an era for me. I personally feel that seeing this show 6 times was trully a privalge and has become my favorite Broadway musical of ALL time. Thanks to the cast and crew especially for making these past 13 months amazing!

This is the man who single-handedly has made it acceptable to be kind, gentle, and positive on ATC (no small accomplishment). What he has to say, is not to be missed!
