I didn't know that we could wait at the stage door! Yeah she gave out the Christmas ball to a teacher of 30 years. It was funny hearing all the people trying to get the ball with flattery. She definitely took a few songs out of her show on Saterday Matinee. How did you get that list of songs? I couldn't find one in the playbill. Her personality carried everything off really well. But I was definitely on the edge of my seat. Yes, I thought the review was harsh and pretty wrong! I didn't there was anything wrong with the quartet. I thought they were fine!

Hi! i am a big BP fan, and a performer as well. This is my first time visiting this fabulous site. I saw her nov. 24 eve concert, i completely agree with the last e-mail .She was ill, but her acting, and personality was incredible and inspirational .i was at the edge of my seat hoping she wouldnt kill her voice on all the high notes. there was nothing she could have done -when u r sick, u r sick. i never usually wait at the stage door, but i wanted to see her. I felt bad that she was sick and didnt push for her signature, though others did. she is a beautiful woman, and very polite. I met the musical director and he was so polite and sweet.

HI!
Did anyone go to B.P.'s concert at the Orpheum? I went today (Now 24th) to the matinee. I realized right away that she had a cold and was having trouble with hoarseness I felt so bad for her because I could see she was trying so hard. As a singer, I could relate and could see that she had all kinds of things she would have liked to do with her voice and her songs with dynamics and licks and such but didn't really know what was even going to come out. By the end of the concert she couldn't sing anymore and had to finish off "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" by speaking it when I am sure she ussually must finish it with a beautiful belt as she does with so many other songs. I was so amazed at how she handled it. It was inspiring to see that even big celebrities can have struggles in their arts. The woman is amazing. Her personality came right through and compensated. She's beautiful. I see now that I can always make a song beautiful if it comes from the heart. Does anyone have an adress I can write to her??????
