To you long time fans this may seem like an asinine question but I a recent
fan and have never seen BP perform live or many of her movies, so I was
wondering: "Can she dance." Or when she was a bit younger could she?

She is quite a good tap dancer and these days she would probably be
categorized as a really good mover. You can't really compare her to people
like Ann Reinking or Karen Ziemba, but she's been dancing her whole life.

She did a sketch of the Carol Burnett show where she played herself. She
walked into a diner and the people there were trying to do a tribute to
Sondheim, and something about there person not showing up and Bernadette
walked in. She, this guy, and Carol did a number and (Side by Side)
Bernadette had a huge tap section and she was VERY good. (Thanks Lanaya, loved
the tape!!!)

That was HILARIOUS!!! "Can I shake the hand of a 4 time Tony nominee?" The
skit with Carol Burnett as a song writer was good too/

How did I miss this? The Carol Burnett Show has been off the air for years,
but this sounds new. Anybody want to fill me in? thanks.

This was the "new" Carol Burnett Show in the early 90's. Tony Roberts and
Bernadette were the guests; Bernadette did the Sondheim sketch at the end and
sang a beautiful slowed-down version of "I'm Flying" from Peter Pan.

Keep your eye out on LIFETIME ( I believe) because that's where I
caught a rerun of it a couple of years ago...it was weird because I
had just taped the "SONNY and CHER" Christmas episode with Bernadette
on it and was flipping through channels and BP was just starting "I'm
Flying"...pretty cool! The skit she does is great! -Eric
