to see my maill box full of Brnadette Peters related things......
I am 19, My name is Mollie....Into the Woods was probably what turned me on to
musical theater, and Bernadette has been a favorite of mine for quite some
time. I saw her in concert, and was absolutly amazed. I also have a 3 yr. old
cousin who is crazy about Bernadette(she some how manages to another sylabll
to her name-pronouncing it as Bernaladette) If she could write, I'm sure she'd
be on this list too :)
Well that's about it on me!

I've seen a lot of people introducing themselves, and since I just
joined I guess I will, too.
My name is Joanna Shalvoy, and I've always loved Musicals. I remeber
when I was around 4 or 5, we had just finished watching Into The
Woods (which we had taped a year or two ago), and Mom and Dad could
not convince me that the same person who played the witch (Bernadette,
of course) was now on TV commercial for Breyers' Frozen Yogurt.
I "found out" about Bernadette Peters when she was doing the voice
for Rita on Animaniacs and then found the soundtrack to The Goodbye
Girl.
In fact, Bernadette lead me to discover Stephen Sondheim,too (Sunday
in the Park With George).
It's great to have so much e-mail about my favorite star!

See headers | Hey, Joanna, yeah, I heard about that Breyers ice cream thing. Didn't she say
something like, "it's vanilla!" I have a friend that teases me about that. She
said it's pretty funny. I do not believe, however, it could be as funny as her
Ocean Spray commercial. I remember when that one was airing my sister was
rather BP obsessed and had to go out and buy Crancurrent. I don't know whether
she was just really stupid and thought it was really supposed to make you
sultry or she just was really Bernadette crazy. Anyway, I'm just rambling now.

was sometime in June or July. Her husbands name is Michael Whittenberg. She
dosen't have any kids. She turned 50 on Feb. 28.

Couple things according to something I ran across today re:when Bernadette was
born, she's maybe a week older than me. So having children at her age would
make no sense at all.. If not next to impossible without adoption. And at her
age, other than adopting a kid in their late teens, a baby would be a big
problem for people in her age group. Plus when you think about her performing
schedules, it's just barely fair to even have pets.

Well if the birthdate I saw today 1948 is true, she's 50..
