Actually, the lyric is "There is a rose in Spanish harlem." It's from an old
song once recorded by the Mamas and the Papas called, "A Rose in Spanish
Harlem." I've always thought it was a beautiful addition at the end of
"Cupid."

See headers | actually 'a rose in spanish harlem' was originally done by aretha
franklin...and that is the way the song, 'cupid' ends...even on the
original....
