Yes, I think Bernadette's choice in movies has been pretty poor. Annie had
potential - in fact, it should have been amazing - and BP was great in it, but
I can't think of any really great movies that she's done. The Jerk and
Pennies from Heaven are decent, but Pink Cadillac and Slaves of New York?
What was she thinking? She's done some pretty lame TV movies too, but Valerie
Bertinelli and Meredith Baxter Birney have that market cornered!!!

That Lee Ann Rhymes one was HARD for me to watch, but the one with Mary Tyler
Moore was okay. I cried at the end when she died!!

I love that TV MOVIE with Mary Tyler Moore...it was very mellow
dramatic though and I also really liked "David". -Eric

I really liked it the first time I watched it - caring so much about
Bernadette Peters personally, I was totally sucked in -- but when I watched it
the second time, the script seemed a little sappy. But I must say, the acting
was terrific!!!

I've heard David was weird and not the greatest from Bernadette. But does
anyone have a copy they would be willing to sell or give to me? Or even
borrow? I really want to see it. I don't care how bad it is. Please E-mail
me either privately or on the list. I don't care. Thanks so much.

I might have a copy of it. I'll take a look. It's not my favorite, but worth
a viewing I suppose if you're a die-hard fan.

What was "David"? The name sounds familiar but I don't remember what it is.

David was the movie about the burn victim. That was awful. Absolutely
horrible, grossed me out. But Bernadette looked good in it.

I recently got THE LAST BEST YEAR on tape (the one with Mary Tyler Moore) I
looked for it forever, now that i have it, I can't watch it b/c I hate to see
her die. I haven't seen it since I bought it. Weird, eh?

I really liked "David" I have seen it about three times on some

really good movie! -Eric
